Compress a PDF for Outlook

Outlook and many Exchange servers reject attachments around 20 MB. Compress a large PDF in your browser with Fit to size, then attach the smaller file—or share a link when it must stay huge.

Steps

  1. Open Compress and unlock with a trial or $1.49 day pass if this browser is locked.
  2. Drop the PDF—it stays on your device.
  3. Choose Fit to size and set a target under 20 MB (try 12–15 MB for headroom).
  4. Download, open once to confirm, then attach in Outlook.

FAQ

Will text stay selectable?

Fit-to-size re-renders pages as images, so text usually will not stay selectable. Keep the original if you need a text PDF.

Still too big for Outlook?

Split the PDF into parts, or upload to OneDrive / your file share and send a link instead of attaching.

What does it cost?

All six tools need an active plan: a 7-day trial (card required), then $2.99/mo or $19/yr until you cancel, or a one-time $1.49 24-hour pass.
